To make data sharing maximally useful modelers will need to learn more about experiments and experimental scientists need to learn more about models. To facilitate this exchange we will organize one week long summer school sessions in 2012 and 2013. (These will also incorporate our workshops.)

Overview

Summer School will be a hands-on experience. Instead of hearing about a model everyone should be given the chance to work with it using online tutorials. Instead of hearing about an experiment, every participant will be given the dataset and as part of a tutorial learn how to analyze the dataset and use it. Participants excited by this can join our competitions and see how their model will match against other teams' models.

Dates and information

We will be updating this page once we finalize a schedule. In the mean time, please let us know what dates would work for you on our ideas page.
